The new species which will be described in 2022 have, for the most part, already been in our collections for several years.

By taking a few examples, let us try to illustrate this paradox and thus better understand the mechanisms that lead to their discovery.

Botanical Variations
Every Tuesday, from April to November.
During your lunch break, participate in the themed visits of the largest botanical garden in Switzerland and its conservatory. Led by passionate specialists (botanists, curators, horticulturists and researchers), discover the wealth of collections and research projects at the CJBG.
Meet at 12.30 p.m. precisely at the main entrance to the CJBG, unless otherwise stipulated*.
