Complet Guided visit

Climate change and alpine plants: discover the plants we grow at La Linnaea alpine garden in Valais.

Wednesday 19 November, 14:00

Come and discover more than 300 species of alpine plants that we nurture and cultivate at here in Geneva at the Botanical Garden!

In the rockeries potting shed - a timeless place where our gardeners propagate our alpine plants - using archives and contemporary photographs, our gardener will tell you about this unique and little-known place, which also serves as a base for our collection of wild seeds that then feed into our Index Seminum.
This is also an opportunity to talk about growing alpine plants, the different substrates we use and the impact of global warming on alpine flora.
