Guided visit

The doum palm seen from the genetics lab

Tuesday 21 November, 12:30

The genus Hyphaene has been the subject of a vast research project at the CJBG. This strange group of palm trees, largely used in Africa, never cease to amaze us!

Come an discover how the field of genetics has shed light on certain aspects of the evolution of these palm trees, emblematic of Africa.

Tuesdays, during your lunch break, why not discover the full extent of our collections and research projects in the company of experts (botanist, curator, horticulturist or researcher).
Check out our full range of workshops and visits.
