Guided visit

Surprising uses of mosses

Sunday 2 October 2022, 14:00

What would surprise you more: the diversity of bryophytes at the Botanical Garden or the unexpected uses that humans have made of them since time immemorial ?

Mattresses, insulation, a supposed cure for epilepsy and many more besides ?

Sunday Visits
On the 1st Sunday of the month, from April to December
Extend your Sunday stroll to take in the Botanical Conservatory and Gardens of Geneva and choose one or other (or both) of the visits organised on the 1st Sunday of every month. Your guide will be a botanist, horticulturist or researcher and you will discover the many different facets of your “museum”. Meet at 2 p.m. and/or 3.30 p.m. precisely, depending on the visit you have chosen, at the main entrance to the CJBG.
These visits also take place on public holidays (May Day, Whit).
