Guided visit

The scientific archives of Edmond Boissier

Tuesday 23 May 2023, 12:30

Edmond Boissier was one of the leading botanical lights of 19th-century Geneva. He left behind a scientific treasure trove, which we invite you to discover in the Botanical Conservatory and Garden.

The CJBG house the archives of Geneva’s great botanist, Edmond Boissier (1810-1885). This fund presents his scientific life as well as the Boissier Herbarium, which survived for several decades after his death.

Tuesdays, during your lunch break, why not discover the full extent of our collections and research projects in the company of experts (botanist, curator, horticulturist or researcher).
Check out our full range of workshops and visits.
