Conditions for filming

The conditions for being granted permission to film in the Botanical Garden are as follows:
 

  • You must submit your request at least ten days before the shoot;
  • You must respect members of the public who are visiting the Botanical Garden;
  • You must respect the plants in the collection and the paths;
  • You must observe the opening hours of the Botanical Garden, and of the greenhouses in particular (no filming is allowed in the greenhouses at present due to the pandemic restrictions);
  • You must give a generic credit in the final product to the place where the footage was shot, i.e.: Conservatory and Botanical Garden of Geneva;
  • You must use the backdrop of the Botanical Garden in a way that is ethically and morally appropriate for a public place (e.g., no violent or pornographic images);
  • You must not use the image of the Botanical Garden (CJBG) for commercial purposes;
  • You must submit a copy of the finished product to the CJBG (for the attention of Mr Didier Roguet).

 Filming is not permitted on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, when there is a large number of visitors.

No technical assistance will be provided while you are filming and locations may not be blocked to the public.
