Guided visit

The wide variety of small fruits!

Sunday 2 July 2023, 14:00

Meet “Goliath”, “Poorman” or “Goudoin rouge” in the ProSpecieRara collection of small fruits at the CJBG.

It is the chance to discover and taste the wide variety of currants and other small fruits from the ProSpecieRara orchard. The reproduction techniques will also be presented.

On the first Sunday of every month, from April to December, take a slightly longer Sunday walk to understand the numerous facets of our institution, accompanied by a botanist, horticulturist or researcher.
Check out our full range of workshops and visits.

The western Swiss branch of ProSpecieRara is housed in the Botanical Conservatory and Garden of Geneva. This Swiss foundation protects the genetic and historical-cultural diversity of farmed plants and production livestock for future generations thanks to the support and collaboration of a national network of multipliers and breeders.
