Guided visit

Discovering the fungi of the Botanical Garden

Tuesday 10 October 2023, 12:30

Basidiomycetes, lichenised ascomyctes... Yes! These words do indeed exist! They are surprising types of fungi that we invite you to come and observe!

The Botanical Garden is home to numerous organisms other than plants, including several species of fungi which grow here spontaneously. Let’s discover these different hidden species together and learn to recognise them.

Tuesdays, during your lunch break, why not discover the full extent of our collections and research projects in the company of experts (botanist, curator, horticulturist or researcher).
Check out our full range of workshops and visits.
